A Swell Time
Adam joined us on the fretless bass for Rachel and Chloe's joined 21st in Muckhart Village Hall, and boy did it make a difference. The residents of the sleepy village must have felt the tremors. Sometimes you just come across the perfect audience, that was true for this birthday gig. Guests of all ages were swinging each other about like there was no tomorrow. For a hall of that size the sound was surprisingly good, better than some of the much grander venues we have played in.
We were treated to some much appreciated hot food at half time, taking our food through to the main room just in time to see a questionable rendition of the Macarena in a dance off.
Some gigs go so well that you don't want them to finish, but all good things must come to an end. This was a great event to round off our Staffin year.
